The Children's Program

Our children's program is based on The Early Years Learning Framework. This framework guides our educators in developing quality, early childhood education programs. The framework describes the principles, practice and outcomes to support and enhance young children's learning from birth to five years, as well as their transition to school. The framework provides a clear focus on children's learning and well being, and including families and communities in children's learning. Developing meaningful curriculum involves interactive decision making by children and families.

Developmental Observations and Learning Profiles

Our educators plan for children's learning using learning outcomes. Developmental learning profiles are developed for children with regular bookings and shared with families. We value children as competent capable learners. We believe that planning for children's learning, including documenting children's interests and strengths informs future learning. The Early Years Learning Framework is central to our practices and informs curriculum decision making.

Age Groupings

The children are divided into two age groups:

  • Explorers - 8 weeks to 2 years
  • Adventurers - 2 years to school age
